Not long after meeting at the UProductions studio, Melissa decided I (Ugo Iannuzzi) was the right wedding videographer for her. We shared a powerful vision of how her special day should be documented, and we were excited to make those ideas a reality.
Melissa had found us online, while searching for distinct same day edits. She took notice of the unique, individualized approach we take with each of our projects. We don’t create “cookie cutter films,” and we’re proud of that fact. Our goal is to make each video as personalized as possible. As such, we listen carefully to our clients’ needs throughout the process. This is how we bring their wedding videography to life, in a natural way.
Though this particular wedding shoot went mostly as planned, we did encounter a few bumps along the way. The evening before Melissa and TJ’s big day, our editor (also named Melissa) contacted me with a slight problem — she had fallen down a flight of stairs. The accident had left her with a torn ligament. Once we established that she was doing okay, there was another pressing issue to address: Would it be possible for her to stay on the project? We’re thankful she did. Our editor was a trooper, and remained for the duration of the shoot – she didn’t want to let the UProductions team down. She worked through the pain to produce the touching same day wedding cinematography edit that appears below.
Melissa & TJ are very much in love. Their big bright smiles lit up the room. They were surrounded by family and friends, who had joined them to celebrate their love. We hadn’t met TJ until that day, due to his assignment overseas with the United Nations. However, it didn’t take long to realize what a wonderful person he is – and what a perfect match he is for Melissa.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Sophia and Danielle from Melissa Andre Events . They were incredible to work with, always keeping us informed of the necessary event information. It takes a team effort to pull off a successful wedding shoot; they played a huge role in helping us to capture the day’s events seamlessly. Heartfelt thanks to Sophia and Danielle!
We encourage you to have a look at this wedding cinematography short film that we created for Melissa & TJ.
